Faraway by Mrgroovology Featuring Kuu Sound “I started out on this idea in April 2021 and it immediately had me in a rhythmic trance; I envisioned people dancing around a big bonfire: the sounds remind me of the group Deelite, Bjork, Little Dragon, and stereo lab which is right up my musical alley and I also wanted to stretch my musical mind and have a different sound as a producer; I knew it would need vocals at some point and later all pieces started to align to make it happen. I later found out about Kailani via Bassronin and approached her about collaborating on this and tagged her in the post and she was on board with it. Kuu spent some time with it and what she added was magic.” Mrgroovology “It’s more like capturing an energy for me – I imagine a scene around a fire with rhythmic music and you are dancing with someone and you just feel really connected with both them and yourself.” Kuu Sound
